Our Story

Real Skin Art was founded in Austria by licensed cosmetologist Syusanna Schenk with a mission to bring structure, clarity, and real results to a skincare market overwhelmed by trends and complexity.
In an industry flooded with endless products and conflicting advice, Real Skin Art offers a professional foundation – a focused, intelligent skincare system built to truly support the skin.

Each product was developed over years of formulation and testing, based on Syusanna’s in-depth understanding of skin physiology and years of practice. We use only active ingredients with proven performance and high biocompatibility – no fillers, no trendy distractions. Every formula has a clear purpose, fits into a broader system, and respects the skin’s natural logic.

We believe that beauty is not about achieving perfection, but about respecting the skin, understanding its rhythm, and working with it – not against it. What matters most to us is creating a sense of balance: between results and gentleness, science and simplicity, ritual and reason. Beauty begins where the skin is heard, not corrected.

Why did you start Real Skin Art?

Because skincare lost its meaning. The industry became overloaded with noise – too many products, too many promises, too little substance. As a professional, I saw how people were overwhelmed and still underserved. I created Real Skin Art to bring back structure, logic, and depth to daily care – to offer not just another brand, but a system that makes sense and works.

How do you choose your ingredients?

We choose based on function, not fashion.

Every ingredient we use has a specific purpose within the formula – backed by science, tested for skin compatibility, and selected for long-term performance. We focus on clinically studied actives, biomimetic components, and clean support ingredients. If it doesn’t help the skin in a meaningful, measurable way – it doesn’t go in.

What makes your skincare different?

It’s not designed to impress – it’s designed to work.

We don’t create noise, we create structure. Real Skin Art is a system: minimal, consistent, and built on professional understanding of what the skin actually needs. For me, Real Skin Art was never a project – it was a process.

I didn’t create it to enter the market, but to give something back to the skin: structure, meaning, and space to breathe in a world of noise and excess. Each formula is the result of years of observation, hands-on work, and choosing what to leave out just as carefully as what to include. I wasn’t looking for effects – I was building a foundation. Not a brand. A place the skin – and the person – can return to.
